Welcome to Helios!

Hello! We are happy to introduce Helios Magazine, a new online publication originating out of Cumberland University. Helios is a platform where student voices take the lead, exploring the untold stories and hidden gems of Cumberland University and, to a lesser extent, the Lebanon, Tennessee community.

At Helios, our emphasis on culture (and the people who help develop that culture) seeks to highlight the not-widely-known people, places, and traditions that make our university (and, by extension, our community) unique.

We aim to shine a light on stories that too often go unheard. From unsung heroes on campus to cultural movements shaping our university, Helios (and its creators) love discovering the extraordinary in the everyday.
