Hello! We are happy to introduce Helios Magazine, a new online publication originating out of the Creative and Professional Writing class at Cumberland University. Helios is a platform where student voices take the lead, exploring the untold stories and hidden gems of Cumberland, and, to a lesser extent, the Lebanon, Tennessee community.

At Helios, our emphasis on culture (and the people who help develop that culture) seeks to highlight the not-widely-known people, places, and traditions that make our university (and, by extension, our community) unique.

We aim to shine a light on stories that too often go unheard. From unsung heroes on campus to cultural movements shaping our university, Helios (and its creators) love discovering the extraordinary in the everyday. Join us as we embark on this journey of curiosity, creativity, and connection.
